Mandy Swanepoel is an admitted attorney of the High Court in South Africa. She has over 20 years of experience in Intellectual Property Law, and her expertise spans all aspects of trademark and copyright law, advertising disputes and regulatory work, domain and company name disputes, drafting and vetting of contracts and strategic negotiation. Mandy obtained her BA LLB degree from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa in 2002, and after being admitted as an attorney, qualified as a Trade Mark Practitioner in 2005 and became a Fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law (SAIIPL). As a partner at the largest intellectual property law firm in South Africa, Mandy gained extensive experience across the African continent, managing all aspects of clients' intellectual property, with a focus on aligning legal strategies with commercial priorities. She has been involved in, and led, some precedent-forming cases in the Supreme Court of Appeal in South Africa. Mandy prides herself on providing solution-orientated advice and is passionate about securing and protecting her clients' intellectual property assets.
